The Safety & Facilities Management Department is accepting applicants for the position of Maintenance Worker.
As a Maintenance Worker, you will be essential in ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities. Your role involves performing various maintenance tasks that may include plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs. Tasks, such as moving furniture and snow removal, are involved.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities that may including plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry work.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while executing tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete projects effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents and staff.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, and electricity.
- General knowledge of how to operate typical tools and equipment.
- Must be able to work in weather and walk around campus.
- Must be able to climb ladders and kneel.
- Need to be able to lift furniture with assistance.
- Clearances will be processed due to working around youth.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
